Welcome to Maddie + Ro! We are beyond grateful you are here! Let me tell you a little bit about our journey...

 

What started as a little idea, then became a hobby, then finally...after more than a year, became my reality. Maddie + Ro was born after spending almost 7 years in the corporate world. A career world that wasn't for me or my intended career path. My creativity was stifled, and slowly but surely I was living day to day caught up in the 9-5 hustle.

In August of 2017 we welcomed our first child. I was a first time mom, and like many parents just starting out, I began brainstorming and crafting the perfect nursery long before his arrival. I loved piecing together different items from as many different small businesses that I could. One thing I noticed was the lack of nursery fabrics that could define a space, or "fit" what I was looking for. Lets even go one step further and say there were almost zero options that could transition from infancy to toddlerhood and beyond. The idea factory was exploding...

 

Back to work I go...except my universe had shifted. What was important to me, and the goals that I had personally became front and center. My son was 10 months old when I left that little cubicle. I'm forever thankful for the path that lead me to where I am today and grateful to have had the support of my husband and family to do so.

Being a stay at home mom definitely isn't easy, and finding time to piece together a new business created a whole new set of challenges, but I was happy and for the first time in a very long time, felt like I was following my intended career path.  

 

Fast forward a little more than a year later, and we are here! Maddie + Ro is live, and ready to bring my passion for design and creating to your littlest loves nursery. 

 

Our fabrics are hand selected, designed by myself, or another talented artist, and sewn by yours truly. We hope you love your products as much as I did making them. Happy shopping!
